This 5 days Uganda wildlife safari takes you through to Kidepo Valley National Park. It takes you to extreme eastern Uganda to Kidepo National Park and it covers game drives, birding and many others. It starts and ends in Kampala
Day 1: Drive to Kitgum
Day 2: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
Day 3: Game drive
Day 4: Game drive and transfer to Kitgum
Day 5: Return to Kampala and departure
Day 1: Drive to Kitgum
After breakfast early in the morning, you will be picked up by our driver guide who will take you to eastern Uganda to Kidepo Valley National Park. This park lies at the border with South Sudan and Kenya. Have dinner and overnight stay at Bomah Guesthouse
Day 2: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
Today, get up early enough to have breakfast and after, head off to Kidepo Valley National Park about 3 hours’ drive. Arrive early enough and set off for game drive which will reward you with amazing views over wildlife species like elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, hyenas, lions and birds. Dine and spend a night at Apoka Lodge/Nga’Moru Wilderness Camp.
Day 3: Game drive
Wake up early in the morning and after, set for game viewing which gets you best views over wildlife species lions, buffaloes, elephants, birds and many others. Return to have lunch and after, embark on cultural walk to Karamojong village to explore more about the unique cultural and traditional dances, music performances. Have dinner and overnight stay at Apoka Lodge/Nga’Moru Wilderness Camp.
Day 4: Game drive and transfer to Kitgum
Have breakfast and later, set off for a game drive to look out for the species you missed to see the previous day. Late, drive to Kitgum. Dine and spend a night at Bomah Guesthouse
Day 5: Return to Kampala and departure
Drive back to Kampala after breakfast and this marks the end of the 5 days Uganda safari in Kidepo Valley National Park
