Day 1: Arrival at Nairobi
On arrival at Nairobi Airport, pick up by your driver guide who then will transfer you to your respective hotel in Nairobi city for dinner and overnight stay at Nairobi Serena Hotel.
Day 2: Fly to Entebbe Airport
Early in the morning, have a cup of tea or coffee and then head off to the airport for flight to Entebbe International Airport in Uganda. On arrival here, check in at nearby hotel or drive to Kampala and have a rest, dinner and overnight stay at Sheraton Kampala Hotel/Protea Hotel Kampala/Fairway Hotel.
Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi National Park
Wake up early enough and have breakfast. After, be ready to embark on 9 to 10 hours’ drive from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park-Uganda’s main home to half of mountain gorillas that still live on earth today. En-route, make a stopover at the Equator for photo taking and lunch in Igongo cultural center. After, proceed with the drive via scenic landscape in western Uganda with undulating and hilly side. Arrive a bit late in the evening to have a rest, dinner and a night stay at Buhoma lodge/Chameleon Hill Lodge/Mahogany springs (Luxury), Gorilla Resort Bwindi Camp/Nkuringo Lodge/Buhoma Community Bandas.
Day 4: Gorilla trekking
Today, start your day with a hot cup of tea or coffee at your respective lodge. After, join the rest of the visitors at your particular trail for briefing on dos and don’ts for gorilla trekking by park official. Later, get your packed lunch and bottled water ready with a right attire and set off to search for the rare mountain gorillas depending on which group you will be assigned to. On getting these apes, you have an hour of magical encounter, learning their behavior and photo taking. The trek takes you about 1 to 8 hours depending on your hiking speed, nature of the habitat and location of gorillas. After, return to the lodge and relax, have dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma lodge/Chameleon Hill Lodge/Mahogany springs (Luxury), Gorilla Resort Bwindi Camp/Nkuringo Lodge/Buhoma Community Bandas.
Day 5: Return to from Bwindi to Kampala to Nairobi
Following breakfast early in the morning, embark on a journey back to Kampala/Entebbe and then connect to Nairobi by flight. Along the way, enjoy the incredible surrounding areas including the rolling hills of Kigezi highland. On arrival at Nairobi, check in at Eka Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Transfer from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park
Early in the morning after breakfast, check out ready to set off to Lake Nakuru National Park-Kenya’s popular national with millions of seasonal pink flamingos and several water birds. Take a game drive along the way to Sarova Lion Hill for lunch. In the afternoon, get out and embark for another game viewing around the Lake to spot out most of the rhinos, zebras, gazelles, leopards, buffaloes, waterbucks a mention but a few. After, return and have dinner and overnight stay at Sarova Lion Hill.
Day 7: Transfer from Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara
Have breakfast early enough and then leave Lake Nakuru for Masai Mara National Reserve-East Africa’s popular nature reserve with undulating hills and amazing savanna grassland where vast wildlife species thrive. You will have lunch at Sarova Mara Luxury camp. After, set off for an afternoon game drive to sight at variety of savanna grassland dwellers here including cheetahs, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, elephants, lions a mention but a few. Later, return to Sarova Mara Luxury Camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8 and 9: Masai Mara
For 2 days, you have opportunity to explore the stunning Masai Mara National Reserve to the fullest. Have a chance to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards as they hunt, feast of their kill. Besides, have a chance to also pay a visit to Masai village or opt for hot air balloon and sum it up with a champagne breakfast on the plains. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Sarova Mara Luxury Camp.
Day 10: Head off to Isebania to Serengeti National Park
Get up early in the morning and enjoy your breakfast then later, head off to Isebania border and continue to Serengeti. En-route make a stopover and enjoy your lunch. After, there will be evening game drive. Return for dinner and overnight stay at Serengeti Simba Lodge.
Day 11: Full day in Serengeti
On the 11th day, you will have breakfast and you set off for the entire day of exploring Serengeti’s natural wonders. Later, return and have overnight stay at Serengeti Simba Lodge.
Day 12: Transfer from Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Get up and enjoy breakfast and then set off for game drive up to lunch and have some rest. Later, head off to Ngorongoro Conservation Area where there are intense wildlife species including zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, lions, hippos, elephants, cheetahs, leopards and others. Dine and spend a night at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge/Ngorongoro Serena Lodge/Lemala Ngorongoro Camp.
Day 13: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
You will be served breakfast and later embark on journey to crater to enjoy the picnic lunch. The Ngorongoro crater is remarkably one of East Africa’s most stunning natural wildlife site and features high population of the big five game. Return to Ganako Luxury Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 14: Drive from Ngorongoro to Manyara
Have a tasty cup of tea or coffee and after, take a drive to Lake Manyara National Park a main refuge to breathtaking sceneries with amazing wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, wildebeest, impalas, waterbucks, warthogs, leopards, klipspringers, dik-dik a mention but a few. On arrival, have a game drive and return to Manyara wildlife camp/Lake Manyara Serena Lodge/Isoitok camp Manyara for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 15: Lake Manyara to Namanga then to Amboseli
Start your day with a cup of tea or coffee and then head off to Namanga where you will perhaps exchange cars and continue to Amboseli. Arrive early enough and have lunch at Amboseli Serena. In the afternoon, set off for game drive at the park. Later drive back to have a rest, dinner and overnight stay at Amboseli Serena Lodge.
Day 16: Transfer from Amboseli to Taita hills
Today, you will first enjoy your breakfast and then set off for early morning game drive around the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. While here, have a chance to sight at the snows. Later, check out and head off to the Taita hills where you will have lunch at Taita hills salt lick. In the afternoon, have game drive and return for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at Taita hill salt lick.
Day 17: Taita hills to Nairobi
After breakfast, embark on early morning game viewing and then return to the lodge to check out. Head off to Nairobi for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at Nairobi Serena Hotel.
Day 18: Departure
Today, you enjoy your breakfast and after check out from your respective hotel and set off to the airport for your flight back home and this marks the end of your 18 days in East Africa.
