Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Following breakfast early in the morning, hit the road via Kampala/Entebbe-Mityana-Mubende-Fort Portal route. This is approximately 5-6 hours’ drive from Kampala or Entebbe to Kibale Forest National Park. En-route, stop in Fort Portal for lunch. Dine, relax and spend a night at Primate Lodge/Ndali Lodge/Kyaninga (Luxury), Chimpanzee Forest Guesthouse/Chimp Nest Lodge (Midrange) or Lake Nkuruba nature reserve and community campsite/Nyinabulitwa Country Resort and Safari camp.

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest National Park
Have breakfast early in the morning and after, gather other visitors at Kanyanchu visitor center for morning briefing on the set rules and regulations for chimpanzee tracking. You will be put in a group of 6 visitors to track chimpanzees and you will be accompanied by one park ranger guide. Later, hit the jungles for actual trek and you have 1 hour to strike your imaginations with these amazing creatures while in their natural habitat. Later, walk back or be driven back to the visitor center or lodge to have a rest and lunch. In the afternoon, embark on rewarding nature walk in Bigodi wetland sanctuary you will catch a glimpse at varied primate species including black and white colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys, vervet monkeys, baboons as well as birds like the great blue turacos and butterflies among others. Dinner and overnight stay at Primate Lodge/Ndali Lodge/Kyaninga (Luxury), Chimpanzee Forest Guesthouse/Chimp Nest Lodge (Midrange) or Lake Nkuruba nature reserve and community campsite/Nyinabulitwa Country Resort and Safari camp.

Day 3: Return to Kampala/Entebbe
Wake up early in the morning to have breakfast and after, check out from your respective lodge. Drive back to Kampala and this will mark the end of your 3 days Uganda safari in Kibale Forest National Park.
