This 10 days East African safari is a combined package set for you to discover what makes both Uganda and Kenya a few premier destinations. It takes you through magical experiences in Uganda and Kenya-the two prominent safari destinations in East Africa. This package is special on its own as it takes you through chimpanzee tracking, gorilla trekking, game viewing in the most pristine parks and other exciting activities. It starts in Kampala and ends in Nairobi
Day 1: Transfer to Kampala
Day 2: Depart for Kibale National Park
Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest National Park and transfer to Bwindi
Day 4: Gorilla trekking
Day 5: Transfer to Kampala/Entebbe and fly to Nairobi

Day 1: Transfer to Kampala
Land at Entebbe International Airport early enough and meet the driver guide. He will brief on this tour and after, drive you to your respective hotel in Kampala. Dine and spend a night at Cassia Lodge (Midrange).
Day 2: Depart for Kibale National Park
Get up early in the morning and after, check out from the hotel ready to embark on 4 to 5 hours’ road trip to western Uganda to Kibale Forest National Park. You will drive via Kampala-Mubende-Fort Portal route. Dine and spend a night at Primate Lodge/Ndali lodge (luxury) or Chimps Nest/Kibale Forest Camp (Midrange).
Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest National Park and transfer to Bwindi
Get up early in the morning and after, gather at Kanyanchu visitor center to be briefed on rules and regulations that you have to follow while on chimpanzee trekking. This primate adventure takes you about 2 to 3 hours and only 1 hour is given to you to have a face to face encounter with chimpanzees. While on chimpanzee trek, you also a have to catch a glimpse at diverse primate species including black and white colobus monkeys, grey cheeked mangabeys, red tailed monkeys, baboons, red colobus monkeys and many others as well as birds, butterflies. After, return and head off through Queen Elizabeth National Park home to African bush elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, antelopes and others. Drive via Ishasha sector and catch a glimpse at tree climbing lions and then proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Dine and spend a night at Chameleon Hill lodge/Mahogany Springs lodge (Luxury), Silverback lodge (Midrange) or Buhoma community rest camp (budget)
Day 4: Gorilla trekking
Today, you will start your day with a delicious breakfast at your respective lodge and after, gather at the park headquarters for briefing on dos and don’ts for gorilla trekking. It is today that you will be assigned to habituated family to track in a group of 8 visitors. The trek may last you about 4-8 hours and only 1 hour is given to you to strike your imaginations with these creatures, take photos and explore their behaviors. Later, return to have a rest and then you have evening walk to Batwa community for you to explore more about the unique cultures and traditions, dances as demonstrated by the Batwa. Please make sure that you have packed lunch/energy giving snacks and bottled water before you get to the forest to lookout for gorillas. Dine and spend a night at Chameleon Hill lodge/Mahogany Springs lodge (Luxury), Silverback lodge (Midrange) or Buhoma community rest camp (budget)
Day 5: Transfer to Kampala/Entebbe and fly to Nairobi
Following breakfast early in the morning, check out from the lodge ready to embark on a return journey to Kampala/Entebbe for you to take a flight to Nairobi. Arrive early enough at Kenyatta international airport or Jomo Kenyatta airport then drive to hotel in Nairobi. Dinner and overnight stay at Royal Orchid Azure Nairobi.
Day 6: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park
Have breakfast early in the morning and after, head off to Lake Nakuru National Park. Descend down the floor of the might rift valley while enjoying the sceneries. Arrive early to have a rest and take part in game viewing for you to spot out wildlife species like buffaloes, hyenas, water bucks, lions, zebras, birds such as herons, Egyptian geese, cormorants, ibis, pelicans and others. Dine and spend a night at Lake Nakuru lodge.
Day 7: Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve
Get up early enough to have breakfast and later, drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. This is a home to big five game and several savanna grassland wildlife species as well as birds. Dine and spend a night at Mara Sopa Lodge.
Day 8 and 9: Masai Mara National Reserve
Early morning, have breakfast at your lodge and after, embark on game viewing in the spectacular Masai Mara National Reserve. You will have the best of picnic lunch and spend the whole day while exploring the diverse wildlife species. While here, catch a glimpse at wildlife species such as lions, elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, topis, gazelles, hyenas, leopards, birds, wildebeests, zebras among others. Dine and spend a night at Mara Sopa Lodge.
Day 10: Departure
Following breakfast, check out from the lodge ready to make return journey to Nairobi for your flight back home. This marks the end of the 10 days Uganda Kenya safari.
