Day 1: Fly to Masai Mara National – Full day Game viewing
Meet your driver guide at the airport or your hotel and drive for roughly 7 hours to Masai Mara national park. In the evening, visit the Masai communities for cultural interactions. Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 2: Morning game drive & fly to Bwindi
Very early in the morning, transfer to the Savannah plain for game drives to catch up with wild animals grazing, browsing and hunting before retiring to rest. Expect to see large herds of elephants, lions, buffaloes, elands, Cheetahs, leopards, zebras, hippos, giraffes and wildebeests among other animals. Transfer back to the lodge for late breakfast and wait for lunch. Return to the lodge for late breakfast and wait for hot Lunch. Later drive to Masai Mara airstrip and fly to Bwindi via Entebbe-Kajjansi-Kisoro airstrips. Overnight at Bunyonyi Rock Resort.
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking & Batwa Pygmies Visit
After breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a simple briefing. Hike to meet the allocated gorilla family, spend an hour enjoying the company of mountain gorillas in their native habitats and embrace their human like social behaviors.
Return to the lodge for late lunch and refreshment, In the evening visit Batwa pygmies for cultural performances and interactions.
Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth, Tree climbing lions & Evening launch cruise
Have morning breakfast, check out and set off for Queen Elizabeth National park through Ishasha. Look out for tree climbing lions in Acacia trees and other game in the park. Check in at Mweya Lodge, refresh and head out for an evening launch cruise at Kazinga channel. A boat cruise is a best spot for birds, water animals and neighboring fishing villages. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge.
Day 5: Lion Tracking & Departure
Rise up early, head out to kasenyi plains for lion tracking. Follow tracks in search for lions, enjoy the game and return to the lodge for breakfast. You will then transfer to the airport for your return flight.
