Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & pick up
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International airport, meet your driver-guide (our company representative) and transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Mabamba shoebill stork/Botanical gardens/Ngamba chimpanzee island

Today you will visit the Mabamba wetland for the famous shoebill stork. Alternatively, visit Entebbe botanical gardens a home to numerous birds or else cruise to Ngamba Island, a sanctuary for chimpanzees. All experiences are memorable and worth doing. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 3: Transfer to Jinja, visit the source of the Nile, water rafting
After morning breakfast, transfer to Jinja to visit the source of River Nile. Also take part in the adventurous white water rafting to experience the grade five falls of the Nile River. White rafting can be half or full-day depending on what you want. Overnight stay at Wild waters Lodge/ Pacific cottages and guesthouse

Day 4: Transfer to Sipi Falls
Wake up early, have breakfast and transfer to Sipi falls in Kapchorwa region of eastern Uganda. Overnight stay at Sipi River Lodge

Day 5: Tour Sipi falls
Today you will hike to tour the three waterfalls that make up the magical Sipi Falls. After morning breakfast, start off the hike through farms to sipi falls, the 3 falls stretch to 85 meters, 75 meters and 100 meters above the sea level. The time to spend hiking depends on your hiking abilities and physical fitness. Overnight stay at Sipi River Lodge

Day 6: Transfer to Pian Upe game reserve –evening game drives
Have breakfast check out and transfer to the Pian Upe game reserve, Uganda’s largest game reserve. In the evening join game drives through the reserve to see animals including giraffes, elands, and Oribis among others.

Day 7:Morning game drives & transfer to Moroto town
Wake up early and go for game drives through the reserve. Enjoy a close encounter with wild animals feeding before retiring for day rest. Return to the lodge for breakfast and wait for lunch. In the afternoon, transfer to Moroto town for an overnight stay.

Day 8:Visit the IK people
Today you visit the IK people for a cultural performance. Spend a day with the IK people, enjoy their traditional dances, songs, poems, stories and the general lifestyle of these indigenous people. Dinner and overnight stay in Moroto Town.

Day 9: Transfer to Kabongo, Visit the Manyatta communities
After a cup of tea, transfer to Kabongo region to visit the Manyatta communities. Yu will interact with local people in their manyattas, learn how they live together, their histories and also enjoy their cultural performances. Overnight stay in Kabongo

Day 10:Transfer to kidepo valley national park
Have breakfast, check out and drive north eastwards to Kidepo Valley National Park, Uganda’s most remote and least visited park. Overnight stay at Apoka Rest Camp, Anga’moru Wilderness Camp

Day 11: Game Viewing & Hotspring
Wake up early and drive through the park for game viewing. Kidepo Valley National park is home to animals such as giraffes buffalos, elephants, cheetahs, lions, bat-eared fox, leopards, black backed jackal and bushpigs. In the afternoon, visit Kanangorok Hotsprings for a memorable experience. Overnight stay at Apoka Rest Camp, Anga’moru Wilderness Camp

Day 12: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park,
Having had a cup of coffee, check out and drive north-westwards to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s oldest and biggest National Park. Overnight stay at Pakuba Safari Lodge.

Day 13: Game drives & relax
Enjoy a morning game drive through the park, see wild animals hunting, browsing and grazing in the open savannahs. In the afternoon, relax at the lodge.

Day 14:Game viewing & lunch cruise
In the early morning; go for game viewing in the open savannah grasslands of Murchison Falls National Park. Expect to see a high concentration of wild animals such as giraffes, lions, Elephants, Ugand kobs, waterbucks, L, Hoest gazelles, warthogs and hippos among others. Return to the lodge for late breakfast, and wait for hot lunch. In the afternoon, go for boat cruise to the bottom of the might Murchison falls. Dinner and overnight stay at Pakuba Safari Lodge.

Day 15: Bundongo chimps, Rhino tracking
After a cup of tea, you will go for chimpanzee trekking in Budongo forest to enjoy an encounter with man’s close relatives. Alternatively, go rhino tracking at Zziwa rhino sanctuary giving you chance to encounter the critically endangered rhinos which are no existent Uganda National parks . Dinner and overnight stay at Amuka Lodge/Budongo Eco Lodge

Day 16: Transfer to Fort portal

Today you will have breakfast, check out and embark on a drive to Fort portal. Dinner and overnight stay at Mountains of the Moon Hotel

Day 17:Semuliki national park, hot springs & Amabere Ga nyinamwiru – Kibale Forest
Have a cup of coffee and transfer to Semuliki Valley National Park. Visit the sempaya hot springs, learn about their formation and experience the magical healing waters of the springs. Thereafter, visit the Amabera Ga Nyinamwiru to learn about their traditional and spiritual attachments as regards to Tooro Kingdom. In the evening drive to Kibale Forest for an overnight stay at Chimpanzee Forest Guest house

Day 18: Chimpanzee trekking & Bigodi wetland
Wake up early, have breakfast and with your packed lunch transfer to Kanyanchu information center for briefing about the rules and regulations of chimpanzee trekking. At 8:00m, embark on a trek to meet chimpanzees, the closest relatives to human beings. Enjoy the magical encounter with chimpanzees, learn about their behaviors, take pics and have fun. In the afternoon, go for a nature walk in Bigodi wetland sanctuary, a home to numerous, birds, and primates all awaiting you. Overnight stay at Chimpanzee Forest Guesthouse
Day 19: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast check out and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Dinner and overnight stay at at Chimpanzee Forest Guesthouse

Day 20: Visit katwe salt mines & Katwe explosion carter – Boat cruise
After a cup of coffee, drive to Katwe salt mines and Exploration Lake. Experience how locals people mine local salts and learn bout the whole process. In the afternoon, join a boat cruise at Kazinga channel to fresh your mind with fresh air and cold breeze. The banks f the river is home to numerous birds such as the white egrets, African fish eagle, African kingfisher, Hammerkop and yellow-billed stork among others. Also, you will see schools of hippos, crocodiles and buffalos resting lazily at the riverbanks. Overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge/ Simba safari lodge/UWA Bandas

Day 21: Transfer to Ishasha sector – evening game drives
In the morning, have breakfast and drive southwards to Ishasha sector. This is home to the famous tree-climbing lions, a must-see on your Uganda safari to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Lookout in the acacia tree/fig tree to see lions resting lazily above you. In the evening for game drives to see lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, warthogs, waterbuck, hippos, and Uganda kobs feeding before retiring for night rest. Dinner and overnight at Ishasha Wilderness Camp

Day 22:Transfer to Ruhija
After breakfast drive out of Queen Elizabeth National Park to Ruhija sector in the eastern region of Bwindi Forest National Park. Overnight stay at Bakiga Lodge.

Day 23: Gorilla trekking & transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Wake up early, have breakfast and with packed lunch transfer to Ruhija Park headquarters for registration and briefing about gorilla trekking. You will be put in groups of eight and given a gorilla family to visit. At 8:00am, off the hike to trek gorillas. Trekking time ranges between 30 minutes to 6 hours depending on where gorillas will be that day. on meeting them, spend an hour in the presence of a gorilla family. Learn their behaviors, take pictures, capture videos and embrace their human-like characters. In the evening, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort for an overnight stay.

Day 24: Full day at the lodge
Spend the day relaxing at the shores of Lake Bunyonyi, Africa’s second deepest lake. The optional activities you can do at Lake Bunyonyi include island exploration, swimming, boat cruising, zip lining ad community visits. Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort

Day 25: Golden monkey trekking in Mgahinga- overnight in Kisoro
Wakeup early, have breakfast and transfer to Ntebeko visitor information center for registration and briefing about golden monkey trekking. At 8:00am, start off the hike to trek golden monkeys. Enjoy an encounter with these playful and lively creatures take pictures and learn about their lifestyles. Mgahinga Forest is also home to lots of monkey species and birds. Overnights stay at Kisoro Rest Camp.

Day 26: Batwa cultural trail & transfer to Bunyonyi
Have a cup of coffee and go for batwa cultural trail to experience the traditional forest life of Batwa pygmies. You will be guided into the forest by Batwa to take part in their traditional activities such as hunting, fruit gathering, picking medicinal herbs and also visit Ngarama caves. Enjoy a cultural performance in form songs, dances and stories which all tell about batwa pygmies and their traditional forest life. In the afternoon, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort.

Day 27: Free day
Spend this whole day at the lodge. you can do optional boat cruising, swimming and community visits. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort
Day 28: Transfer to Lake Mburo – evening game drives
After breakfast, check out f the lodge and drive through Kigezi hills to Lake Mburo National Park. Have lunch at the lodge and go for evening game drives to catch up with wild animals such as zebras, giraffes, bush pigs, Uganda kobs and elands feeding before retiring for night rests. Overnight stay at Mpogo Lodge

Day 29:Nature walks & transfer to See Island
In the early morning, you will go for a nature walk through the National Park. The walk offers you a close encounter with wild animals feeding in the morning and numerous bird species rising up for the new day. Check out and transfer to Entebbe to catch up with a ferry to Ssese Island. Dinner and overnight stay at Brovad sands Lodge

Day 30: Day 30: Relax at Ssese Island
Spend the whole of today relaxing at the sandy beaches of Ssese Island. Enjoy swimming, sunbathing, football playing and island exploration to fresh your mind and climax your safari experience. Dinner and overnight stay at Brovad sands Lodge

Day 31: Transfer to Entebbe
After morning breakfast, leave Ssese Island for Entebbe to catch up with your connecting flight.
