Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Wake up early in the morning and be served with delicious breakfast at a hotel in Kampala. After, meet your driver guide who then will give you a quick briefing on what your 4 days Uganda safari is all about. Later, embark on 8 to 10 hours’ journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Your journey starts in Kampala or Entebbe through Masaka-Mbarara route. Along the way, make a stopover at Equator at Kayabwe where you will have a photo shoot and some relaxation. After, drive to Igongo cultural center to have lunch. When you are done with lunch, proceed southwest wards to Bwindi National Park. Dine and spend a night in Buhoma Community Camp/Broadbill Forest Camp (Budget); Chameleon Hill Lodge/Clouds Mount Gorilla Lodge/Gorilla Forest Camp (Luxury); Gorilla Mist Camp/Gorilla Valley Lodge (Midrange).

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi National Park
Your day begins with early morning breakfast at your respective safari lodge and after, you join other visitors at the park headquarters for briefing. Note, gorilla treks Bwindi forest
in Bwindi National Park are conducted in any of its 4 main trailheads of Buhoma, Ruhija, Nkuringo and Rushaga. This means, you head off to a respective trailhead/sector as per your gorilla permit. The park official takes you through the set rules and regulations that you have to follow while in search for gorillas in the wild. You will be allocated to only 1 habituated group to trek in a group of 8 visitors.
Upon finding your group, you have only 1 hour to strike your imaginations with these creatures while in their natural habitat, take as many photos as possible, explore their behavior and others. This adventure takes you about 4 to 8 hours depending on your hiking speed, nature of habitat and location of gorillas.
After, return to the lodge to have a rest and in the evening, set off to Batwa community for village/community walk. While here, get the best of traditional dances, practices of the Batwa pygmies. Dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Community Camp/Broadbill Forest Camp (Budget); Chameleon Hill Lodge/Clouds Mount Gorilla Lodge/Gorilla Forest Camp (Luxury); Gorilla Mist Camp/Gorilla Valley Lodge (Midrange).

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Following breakfast early in the morning, check out of the lodge ready to embark on 3 to 4 hours drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Drive through the Ishasha sector where you will spot out most of the rare tree climbing lions. Arrive early to have a rest and lunch. After, head off for afternoon boat cruise via Kazinga channel that will reward you with magical encounters of several hippos, crocodiles, water birds and other wildlife on the shoreline. Dine and spend a night at Mweya Safari Lodge/Kyambura Game Lodge/Ishasha Wilderness Camp (Luxury); Kazinga Channel View Resort/Mweya Hostel (Budget); Enganzi Game Lodge/Bush lodge (Midrange).

Day 4: Morning game drive and return to Kampala
Get up early enough and have breakfast. After, check out from the lodge ready to embark on game drive through Kasenyi sector Game Viewing
or you to catch a glimpse at varied species that missed the previous day including African elephants, buffaloes, antelope families, lions, leopards and many bird species or Ishasha sector where you will catch a glimpse at the rare tree climbing lions. Later, embark on a return journey to Kampala and this will mark the end of your 4 days Uganda safari to Bwindi and Queen Elizabeth National Park.
