This 3 days Uganda safari takes you to northwest to Murchison Falls National Park one of a few most spectacular protected areas in East Africa. This is Uganda’s largest national park, spanning for over 3840 square kilometers. It is largely composed of pristine savanna grassland where most of its savanna wildlife dwellers thrive including 4 of the big 5 game (elephants, cape buffaloes, lions and leopards), crocodiles, hippos, giraffes, 450 birds including shoebill storks, dwarf kingfishers, bee-eaters and others. This safari begins and ends in Kampala.

Day 1: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park
Get up early in the morning and have breakfast at a hotel or lodge of your choice. After, pick up by our driver guide ready to embark on a 4-5 hours journey to northwestern Uganda to Murchison Falls National Park.
Take a drive through Kampala-Luweero-Masindi route and en-route, make a stopover at the Ziwa rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking. Proceed to Masindi Town to have lunch and later, drive to Murchison Falls National Park to pay a visit to the top of the falls. At this point, have the best of Murchison waterfalls’ powerful roar, magical views and photo shoot. Dinner and overnight stay at Paraa safari lodge/Chobe safari lodge (Luxury), Pakuba lodge/Murchison river lodge (midrange) or Red chili/Heritage lodge (Basic).
Day 2: Game drive and launch cruise in Murchison Falls National ParkAfter breakfast at your respective lodge, pick up by a driver guide ready to embark on wildlife trail in Murchison Falls National Park for game viewing via the northern circuit. While on safari in this particular part of the park, have a chance to catch a glimpse at variety of wildlife species such as giraffes, lions, elephants, many antelope families, birds, leopard, buffaloes and others. Later, drive back to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, set off for a boat trip that takes you to the base of the Murchison Falls. On boat cruise, catch a glimpse at the hippos, crocodiles, water birds (shoebills, grey headed kingfisher, giant kingfisher, pied kingfishers and others). At the base of the falls, hike to the top of the falls or drive back for a ferry crossing or return on a boat. Dinner and overnight stay at Paraa safari lodge/Chobe safari lodge (Luxury), Pakuba lodge/Murchison river lodge (midrange), Red chili/Heritage lodge (Basic).
Day 3: Return to Kampala/Entebbe
Following breakfast early in the morning, embark on a return journey to Kampala or Entebbe. First, you will set off for early morning game viewing for you to catch a glimpse at varied wildlife species that you missed to spot out the previous day.
