Day 1: Departure from Kampala to Bwindi National Park
Early in the morning after breakfast at your respective hotel in Kampala, you will be picked by one of our well-trained and experienced driver guides ready to set off to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, Southwest of Uganda. You will spend about 8-10 hours while driving via stunning countryside along Kampala-Masaka route on a tarmac for about 77 kilometers where you will make a stopover at Equator crossing in Kayabwe. While at this point, you will have opportunity to take as many photos and also refresh yourself or pay a visit to one of the craft shops to purchase some locally made craft products for your own memories. Besides, you will also enjoy the spectacular landscape along the way and then make another stopover for lunch at Agip Motel or Igongo Cultural Centre where you will have a chance to taste the traditional dishes or explore the rich Ankole culture prior proceeding for your dream adventure in Bwindi National Park.
Overnight stay at Buhoma Lodge, Chameleon Hill Lodge (luxury), Gorilla Mist Camp or Bakiga Lodge (Mid-range), Buhoma Community Bandas, Rushaga Gorilla Camp or Ruhija Gorilla Friends Camp (Budget).
Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Breakfast early in the morning, join the rest of the visitors at your respective sector for morning briefing by one of the park officials about the dos and donts of gorilla trekking. After, you will be grouped into 8 visitors and assigned only one habituated family plus a park guide who will take you through the entire trekking process. As you chill and relax in the evening, you will enjoy the amazing traditional performances of the Batwa/Bakiga. The Batwa and Bakiga have the best songs and unique dancing styles that leave a memory in you.
Thereafter, you will have dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Lodge, Chameleon Hill Lodge (luxury), Gorilla Mist Camp or Bakiga Lodge (Mid-range), Buhoma Community Bandas, Rushaga Gorilla Camp or Ruhija Gorilla Friends Camp (Budget).
Day 3: Drive back to Kampala/Entebbe
You will have breakfast in the morning at the lodge and after, check out ready to embark on a return journey to Kampala or Entebbe via Mbarara while enjoying the breathtaking sceneries along the way. You will have lunch in Mbarara and make another stopover at Mbambire drum makers where you will have a chance to purchase some of the drums and then proceed to Kampala or Entebbe Airport for your scheduled flight and this will mark the end of your 3 days Bwindi gorilla tour. Depending on your arrival time, if you reach late you can spend a night at Protea Hotel Entebbe or Victoria Royal Beach Hotel.
