Get up early in the morning and begin your day with a hot and a tasty cup of tea or
Rwanda coffee and after embark on road trip to Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
National Park via Cyanika border to Kisoro to Kabale. Arrive early enough and join
other visitors on early morning briefing on the set rules and regulations for gorilla
trekking. But don’t forget to have your packed snacks and bottled water to help boost
your energy the fact this primate adventure entirely takes you through a hike. Treks
start at any of the 4 main trailheads (Buhoma, Nkuringo, Ruhija and Rushaga) at
Bwindi National Park but as per your gorilla permit.
It is during this day that you will be allocated to only 1 family to track in a group of 8
visitors. After, embark on real trek which may take you about 4 to 8 hours but this
depends on your hiking speed, nature of habitat and location of these creatures in the
course of the day. Note, once you find gorillas, you have only 1 hour to strike your
imaginations with these special creatures, learn more about their behaviors, body
gestures and take their pictures. After your magical encounters, get back to the park
