In the early morning, our company driver guide will pick you up from Entebbe airport or your hotel in Entebbe and transfer to KFNP. Enjoy the 6 hours scenic drive with beautiful views of Uganda’s rolling hills, green vegetation and hospitable people on the way. You will have lunch en route and reach the park in the afternoon. Proceed to Kanyanchu information center for briefing about chimpanzee trekking and registration. At 2:00pm, start off the hike into the jungle forest to trek chimpanzees. The loud shouts laughs and hooting of chimpanzees from a distance will notify you, which direction to take. Spend an hour in the presence of a chimpanzee community, embrace their human-like characters, take photos, capture videos and have fun with man’s closet relatives. Dinner and overnight stay at Chimpanzee Forest Guest House/ Kibale Forest Camp.

Day 2: Transfer to QENP – Afternoon boat cruise

Wake up early, have a cup of coffee, check out of the lodge and set off to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The distance is roughly 3 hours drive via fort portal – Mpondwe road. Check into the lodge, refresh and have lunch. In the afternoon, join a boat cruise at Kazinga channel. Enjoy the cruise on the calm waters of kazinga channel, which connects Lakes Edward and George. Also, a boat cruise offers you great views of numerous birds and water animals seen at the riverbanks. The cool breezes give you a fresh feeling. Dinner and overnight stay at Engazi Lodge.

Day 3: Game Viewing/lion tracking & transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Arise early and go for game viewing in the open plains of the park to catch up with early risers hunting and grazing before retiring for day rests. Expect to see numerous animals like elephants, lions, leopards, impalas, elands, Topis, waterbucks, warthogs, Uganda kobs and hippos at a close range. Alternatively, go for the experimental lion tracking in the plains of kasenyi. There you will follow up lions in the wilderness, and learn intensively about their lifestyles with the help of the research team. Return to the lodge for late breakfast, and wait for lunch. In the afternoon, drive out of the QENP through ishasha sector home to the tree-climbing lions. You may see some tree-climbing lions up in the trees above you. Proceed to Bunyonyi for an overnight stay at Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort.
