TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Every tour company has its own set terms and conditions for booking a safari. Take a look at our terms and conditions.
Contract
The contract is entirely between a client and the tour operator. For any other rising issues, the Uganda law and exclusive jurisdiction of the Ugandan court does apply. However, we do our best to ensure that such cases don’t occur.
How to book
To book a safari in Uganda, you will be required to fill the booking form or e-mail that we shall send to you. Payments details will also be sent to you to help you effect payment. You can do payment by credit card and this can be done through our authorization form sent to you by our reservation department. The booking should be valid from the date we confirm in writing and we have a right to decline any reservation at their discretion.
Payment
A confirmed booking may require you to make a deposit of 30 percent of total safari charge to cover the safari activities such as gorilla trekking/permits, chimpanzee permits and many others. The balance of all monies due including any additional charges must be paid to our account at least 10 to 15 days before actual trip whether by credit card or cash. We do provide and help book for you accommodation regardless of your class. The accommodation facilities range from luxury to budget.
Cancellation policy
Usually, it is on rare occasion that we cancel bookings made by our clients. But we do reserve a right to do so. Any confirmation less than 60 days shall not be cancelled unless unexpected circumstances occur and they are beyond our control. However, for cases of failure to complete payments, we have other options that still suit within the same standard to that you had booked.
Cancelation policy usually takes this form-60-100 days-10%, 59-32 days-25%, 31 to 8 days-50% off safari cost and 7-3 days 75% off safari cost while 48 hours or less before arrival, 100%.
For cases of complaints, we shall pay keen attention to any sort of complaints directly or indirectly from our tour representative or service supplier. We are readily available to respond to any kind of complaint or dissatisfaction. However, it is also regrettable that we can’t bear liability or compensate where the performance or proper performance of our obligations is hampered or affected by any circumstances that we or our supplier of the services in question couldn’t.
You will need a valid license if you plan to hit a road trip. This should also be accompanied by an international driver’s permit.
